There are seasons in life when everything seems to move at once — fast, full, and demanding — and this past year has been exactly that for our family.
As we head into the end of the year, we’re choosing to take a short pause. From December 27 through January 8, our physical shop will be closed so we can soak in time with family — especially our son while he’s home from college — explore the East Coast together, have a little fun, regroup after a very full year, and thoughtfully plan for what’s ahead.
This year brought more change than we could have imagined:
A cross-country move.
Sending our oldest off to college.
Starting middle school in a brand-new state.
Navigating health challenges.
Building two businesses.
Living through home renovations.
We are beyond grateful — and also deeply tired.
We’ve been running at a sprint for a long time, and this pause feels like a collective breath. A chance to slow down, reconnect, and come back grounded and energized for what’s next.
Grace & Haven was always meant to be about community, supporting women (especially mamas), and creating space for family. This year, family often took a backseat as we navigated change after change. This break is our opportunity to start the new year on the right foot — getting back to what matters most and hugging our babies who somehow aren’t babies anymore.
The reality of how fast the years go is settling in, and we’re determined to soak up these moments while we can.
