Yes! Are Grace & Haven events stroller and baby friendly?
Always baby friendly — every single event. The shop does have a step at the entrance, so strollers may need a quick lift in, but once inside we do our best to keep enough floor space to navigate comfortably. If you’re hoping to attend a WIB event and don’t have childcare sorted, reach out — we love having little ones join us and have been known to arrange babysitting when there’s enough interest. Where is Grace & Haven located? Is parking available?
Grace & Haven is located at 23 Main Street, Suite B in Essex, Connecticut 06426 — in the heart of Essex Village on the Connecticut shoreline, close to Old Saybrook, Deep River, and Chester. Street parking is available on Main Street, and there is a parking lot behind the post office next to Main Street Park just steps from the shop, including electric vehicle charging.
Is there a dress code for Grace & Haven events?
Never. Come as you are — that’s the whole point. Whether it’s a 9am coffee in your workout clothes or an evening workshop after work, you’re welcome exactly as you arrive.
What is the Women in Business group at Grace & Haven?
Women in Business (WIB) is a networking and community group hosted by Grace & Haven in Essex, CT, open to women entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals. The group meets regularly for morning coffees, evening networking events, education series, and social gatherings — all held at Grace & Haven on Main Street. All women are welcome, no fee, no application required.
How do I join the Women in Business group?
Just show up. WIB events are open to any woman in business. RSVP through this page so we can save your spot, and come ready to connect. Our morning coffees are a great first event if you’re new to the group.
Can I bring a friend to a WIB event?
Please do. WIB events are better with more women in the room. Bring a colleague, a friend who’s been thinking about starting something, or anyone you think would benefit from the community. Just RSVP for both of you so we have enough seats.
How do I host a private event at Grace & Haven?
Grace & Haven is available for private events including birthday celebrations, baby and bridal showers, sip and shop nights, corporate gifting parties, and more. Email amy@graceandhaven.co to start the conversation.
Can I collaborate or vendor at a Grace & Haven event?
Yes — Grace & Haven actively partners with local makers, small businesses, food and beverage partners, and service providers. Email amy@graceandhaven.co with a little about who you are and what you do.
What is Giving with Grace?
Giving with Grace is Grace & Haven’s ongoing charitable giving program. On designated days, a portion of all in-store and online purchases is donated to a featured cause or nonprofit. Past beneficiaries have included Blood Cancer United and Love for Lincoln.

Can I shop at Grace & Haven during events?
Yes — the store is open and fully shoppable during all events. Some events feature exclusive or limited in-store arrivals not available online. Free gift wrapping is always available — just ask at checkout.
