On Friday, May 1st from 10am to 2pm, Grace & Haven is turning a day of shopping into a day of giving. A portion of every sale — in store at 23 Main Street in Essex and online at graceandhaven.co — will be donated to Blood Cancer United, an organization working to accelerate progress and improve outcomes for people living with blood cancer.
We're calling it Giving with Grace, and it's exactly what it sounds like: a day to shop the things you love, find something beautiful for someone you care about, and let your dollars work a little harder than usual. There's face painting for the kids, sensory play, a giveaway, and SO much new in store just in time for the day. No extra steps. Just show up — and the rest takes care of itself.

When and where is the May 1st Giving with Grace event?
Friday, May 1, 2026 from 10am–2pm at Grace & Haven, 23 Main Street, Suite B, Essex, CT 06426. Street parking on Main Street is free. There is also a parking lot with electric vehicle charging stations behind the post office, next to Main Street Park — just steps from the store. You can also shop online at graceandhaven.co on May 1st and your purchase will still support Blood Cancer United.
Is the Giving with Grace event free to attend?
Yes — Giving with Grace is completely free to attend. Stop in anytime between 10am and 2pm on Friday, May 1st. There's face painting by @yuchionwheels, sensory tables by Peek-a-Brew Play Cafe, a giveaway, and so much new in store. No tickets, no registration — just come as you are.
