Marea by Liz Joy is a New England heritage brand built on two foundations: timeless design and genuine artisanship. Liz Joy — the woman behind @elizabethljoy and @mareathebrand — spent thirteen years building a community of women united by a love of enduring style before founding Marea. The brand grew directly out of those relationships, designed with and for women who want pieces they'll wear for years, not seasons.

The hand block printed pieces are Marea's most singular work. Each one is printed by a family in India who has practiced this craft across generations — a traditional technique where carved wooden blocks are pressed by hand into fabric, repeat by repeat, to build the full print. No two pieces are identical. The slight variation between them is not imperfection; it is the evidence of human craft.

The Ivory/Indigo Meadow print is the Steph Top at its most classic. The indigo botanical motif on ivory cotton is a combination that has worked for centuries and continues to work for the same reasons: it is clean without being cold, patterned without being loud, and genuinely beautiful in person in a way that photographs cannot entirely capture.
